      "Update 1st December 2010

Since the closure of the competition, we have given fair and reasonable time for all entries to be paid for, and we have contacted as many unpaid entrants as possible. We have had to eliminate entries not paid for, to the total of £14,825.000 as we see no possibility of this being paid.

A clear winner has now been selected, and so have the winners for the runner up prizes.

We are now writing to inform the winners via recorded delivery, the process was independantly [sic] verified by a witness.

We are currently in the process of transferring the credit card payments from the secure account with HSBC, to enable us to present the winning cheque and award the charity donations.

As soon as we have clear contact with all the winners, we will then publish the grid reference with photograph of the location of the keys. We will also publish accounts of competition entries and expenditure.

You will appreciate this process has to be carried out with due diligence, and open to scrutiny, and we should like to thank everyone for their patience.

      Kind regards,
      The Cox family"

      What went wrong?
Nice house, I'm not sure why this competition didn't sell more tickets... I see lots of money was spent on printing leaflets and making phone calls, but clearly the advertising fell well short! Also I'm a bit confused, why give Chris Tarrant 1/4 of the charity money?
