Supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital

Wouldn't it be amazing if you could give hope to thousands of seriously ill children and their families, and help save lives?

With 'Win a London Pad' you can! Because when you buy an MP4 player from 'Win a London Pad', £3.00 will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital with the aim of raising up to £600,000 to fund a new purpose-built 4 bed ward in our new Cardiac Daycare Centre.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the leading children's hospitals in the world. We treat some of the rarest and most complex life-threatening conditions children face. For many children, we are the last hope.

Every year we receive more than 150,000 patient visits from the youngest, most vulnerable and seriously ill children in the UK and overseas - over 40% are under 3 years and over 60% require intensive care or have high-dependency needs.

Competition Outcome

After giving away a £400,000 flat in March 2009 to winner Stephen Lakey, the second competition sold a further 9,433 tickets. However, this was below the target number required to give away the 2nd apartment. A cash prize was awarded instead to Christiane Oumohand from France on 2 September 2009.

RE: 2nd WLP results
Hi guys,

Just spotted this announcement on their site:

"We carried out a draw on 28th September 2009. As sufficient tickets were not sold we will be awarding a cash prize;

We had a total of 1,108 entries in the 2nd draw

We also had refunds of 646 entries (MP4 players that were not received from supplier), this gives 462 entries for the draw.

Prize will therefore be: £7,507.5

The winners details will be posted shortly."

Shame they couldn't give away a 2nd home, pretty good prize fund considering... good luck to those that are in the draw x

Pity about this
This was a magnificent draw and a wonderful bright new idea in the UK for casting off the stockpile within the housing market, it's a pity the British public didn't get fully behind it and throw our advertising weight behind it.
