Win a house and bookshop all in one! Mike Barwell is hoping to give away his £300,000 property in Newport, Shropshire by selling up to 35,000 tickets online.

In order to win this house, players must buy a £15 ticket and answer a series of questions based on the book "Pride and Prejudice".

Currently, the lounge and dining room of the house are used as a bookshop by the owner. If the winner is interested, they will be handed the contents of the bookshop together with the property prize.

Competition Outcome

The winner was drawn on 6 July 2009 in the bookshop by the manageress of the local Oxfam shop, in the presence of a journalist from the Newport Advertiser. Ticket number 00167, belonging to Mr Peter Bogatircuks from Berkshire was drawn as the winning ticket for this competition. Unfortunately, the target number of tickets was not sold in time, therefore the winner will receive a cash prize instead.
