British couple Brian and Wendy Wilshaw are hoping to sell a total of 46,000 to raise up to £1.15 million in their Devon property with fishing competition.

Before buying a ticket, players need to answer the following question for a chance of winning the top prize: "What is the price of an adult full season coarse fishing licence for 2008/2009?". This competition will end in December 2008 or as soon as 46,000 tickets are sold. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner based on ticket sales if the target number of tickets isn't reached by the closing date.

Competition Outcome

The competition sold out a full two months ahead of schedule in September 2008. However, after receiving a letter from the Gambling Commission, the Wilshaws were forced to postpone the final draw to convince the regulator their competition was legal.
