A lot of people are put off by the location, but I think this is still a lovely cottage and if I won it for free I'd be delighted. Lots of people are entering in the hope of selling it if they win anyway I guess... What about you?

Hi I think you're in the wrong group, you thinking of the Christmas Cottage? Anyway they're both in the same area so doesn't matter much :)) It's less than 100 miles from London so you shouldn't have any issues if the worse comes to the worse you can always commute! Good luck

I would sell it if I won. Not that I don't think it's a nice property, I just don't like the train tracks and what I read generally about Elmswell. I have a feeling it might be difficult to sell at £320k though!

Yes, I agree, it's a nice family home. I do think the Mail could have been a bit more open about the location, they paint a rosy picture :) but I guess someone is probably still living there and they don't want any hassle. They could at least have said it's in Suffolk!

Given it's free, I wouldn't mind too much about the train tracks. I would probably redesign the interior a bit as I don't think it matches the style of the property. I think the garden's lovely!
