We often get inquiries asking us to provide advice on promoting property competitions more effectively online. While this is only one aspect of the marketing of a house competition, it is often critical to achieve sufficient levels of interest from potential players in a cost effective manner.

We are pleased to reveal that the Win a House competitions directory will be ready later this week. Designed to help competition organisers promote their house competitions more effectively online, it will allow players to quickly find property competitions across different countries.

In turn, this is intended to help generate more targeted traffic for each property competition whilst providing potential players with relevant information in one place

How will it work?

Each house competition or sweepstake will be featured on its own dedicated page, which will include key details about both the competition and the property on offer.

Players will be able to easily access information ranging from the cost of entry; number of tickets for sale; and valuation and location of the property.

In addition, as a competition organiser, you can provide a description of the property and a summary of how the competition is organised. This can include relevant information about the competition, such as any special promotions or details of partnerships with charities.

By targeting specific keywords, you can ensure your directory listing complements your overall online marketing strategy. You will also be able to edit your details and renew your directory listing for an extended period.

At any time, you will also have the option to promote your entry to a Featured listing to boost its visibility for a designated period. Featured competition listings will enjoy a prominent placement across all major sections of the Win a House site (including our homepage and blog), as well as within the directory itself.

While players will be invited to comment on and review individual house competitions, you will also be able to respond to their feedback directly on the competition page.
