After spending months trying (and failing) to sell their home in the traditional way, British couple Brian and Wendy Wilshaw have kick started an exciting new competition to give away their beautiful home in Devon. As featured on BBC TV on 26 August 2008 and covered on a number of other popular news channels and websites, this competition appears to be very well marketed throughout the UK and online. The idea is simple: to sell 46,000 tickets at £25 each (around $50 equivalent), then to pick one lucky winner once the competition has closed. With such a great prize on offer, we expect many people to be interested, particularly as the impending credit crunch means it is increasingly difficult to get your hands on the type of mortgage most people need to afford a £1 million house. We think this is a great house competition for anyone who really enjoys the countryside, and it is clear that the Wilshaw couple have enjoyed living in it for a number of years.

If you look now the latest one dates back to 09/02 yet I'm convinced I read something 2-3 days later who knows, could be their lawyer advising them that 'less is more'..... |
