Win the Landmark Hotel worth 850,000 pounds

A new property competition was launched recently to give away an impressive 16 bed hotel in Wiltshire to one lucky winner for just £25. Valued at £850,000, the Landmark Swindon will also generate an annual income of £50,000 for the winner. A maximum of 48,000 tickets are to be sold by October 2010, giving the owners Malcolm and Margaret Pearson a chance to retire after owning the property since 1987.

Win a hotel in WiltshireSituated at the heart of the lovely Marlborough Downs, the hotel is within easy reach of the 2 World Heritage sites of Stonehenge and Avebury, together with world class gardens, historic houses, cathedrals and churches. The hotel was renovated in 2000, with each individual bedroom named after a local Wiltshire landmark.

For the last 3 years, the property has been leased, allowing the owners to take a step back from the day to day running of the hotel. The current arrangement is in place until 2011, generating an annual income of £50,000 for the Pearsons.

Malcolm & Margaret Pearson"We decided to ‘sell' our Hotel by competition because we love the thought of someone having the life changing opportunity of winning this amazing investment property," said the couple.

The latest update on the website on 3 November indicates the competition has started well, with over 500 tickets sold so far. For a chance to win the Landmark Swindon hotel yourself, all you need to do is answer 3 multiple choice questions on winahotel.co.uk.

Landmark
dear sir/madam

I have purchased a ticket for your competition and have just seen that it has been postponed. Could you please inform me as to what that means as regards to whether it will be reopened or if and how you intend to reinburse the cost of the ticket.

kind regards

Re: Landmark
@ Maggie

Thank you for your enquiry. While we initially helped promote this competition, we do not handle any of the actual ticket sales ourselves. At this stage, we are not sure when the competition will be re-opened. As soon as we hear something ourselves, we will update the site with more details.

In the meantime, I recommend you contact the team at the Landmark who originally sold you the ticket at www.winahotel.co.uk. You can also email them at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Good luck and thanks again for getting in touch - I hope you manage to resolve this shortly.
