| We've done a lot of work on the site over the last few months, adding new tools to help organisers promote their house competitions and raffles more effectively. While some of you are already familiar with some of these changes, over the next few days we will be rolling out further improvements to the site. At the same time, we have updated the description of the competitions directory to make it easier for you to compare the various options available. More than ever, we're convinced our house competition directory should be your first choice to promote your property competitions or raffles online. By immediately enhancing the visibility of your website, it allows you to reach new potential players. Our niche focus ensures you can generate targeted traffic and leads for your competition. We appreciate the importance of quickly building trust in the eyes of potential players. We manually review each directory listing to ensure the same high quality is maintained throughout the site, and regularly blog about relevant topics for players and competition organisers alike. On top of this, you have full access to a range of community and social media tools to make it easy for you to discuss and exchange ideas with other members, provide regular updates on your competitions, and connect with other organisers like yourself. Our current submission fees are set to increase after 12 September to reflect these recent improvements. Until then, you can still list your competition in the directory for only £125 for six months (that's 69p per day!). You can upgrade your site to a Featured listing to display its details on our homepage for the same period for an extra £75. These fees will increase by £50 and £15 respectively after this date (all fees include VAT at 15%). If you're not quite ready to launch your new property competition, don't worry! As long as it is scheduled to start within a month of submission in the directory, you won't be affected by the new fees. Simply submit your contact details and payment by 12 September and we'll assist you updating your details closer to the launch. The submission process is quick and easy and doesn't require any knowledge of the internet. In fact, we'll guide you step by step and give you some useful tips along the way. We look forward to updating you on all the new features. In the meantime, why not take a closer look at how competition directory listings work, together with an overview of some of the benefits involved? If you have any feedback about the directory that you would like to share with us, we welcome your comments and suggestions. Let us know below how we could improve it, including any relevant details you would like to see going forward. Alternatively, feel free to contact us to discuss directly how we could help. Subscribe to this comment's feedRe: what about Italy or Portugal? @ Chrissy, We would welcome new house competitions in those countries - as you say there are fewer around at present and I'm sure they would appeal to many people just like yourself. We are talking to a few organisers at the moment, but they aren't quite ready to launch at this stage. It's worth checking back regularly as things can change quite quickly. Re: I can't buy tickets on your site @ Michael, While we help promote house competitions and raffles on this site, we don't currently run any ourselves. If you want to enter one of the competitions, all you need to do is click one of the various links on the page that describes that competition in detail. For example, if you click the main image of the property prize, you'll be taken to that competition's website, where you can follow the instructions from there. Good luck! Re: nice site @ Blossom, Thanks very much for your kind comments - it's always nice to receive some positive feedback! We're introducing some new features over the next few days across the site, which should hopefully improve your experience further. RSL and Mater are both very popular house raffles, if you haven't entered yet this month RSL finishes on the 28th. Don't worry though, if you don't have time to enter this month they will be launching new raffles as well. |
