The Daily Mirror has teamed up with South Lakeland Parks, one of the UK's leading holiday park specialists, to give away a 2-bedroom holiday home worth £37,000 to one reader. The winner can pick a limited edition ABI Vista Platinum home at one of the Morecambe Bay sites near the Lake District National Park.
A choice of 5 pitches will be made available in new developments at both Ocean Edge and Regent holiday parks. In 2010, site fees ranged between £1,947 and £2,371 incl VAT. The facilities now include indoor swimming pools, children's play areas, entertainment lounges, bars and restaurants. How to enterYou'll need to answer a multiple choice question about a 1980's TV comedy show set in a holiday camp. Entries are accepted by phone or text and cost about £1 depending on the entry route and operator. You can also enter online by opening a Click and Buy account. Lines close at 6pm on Friday 2 July 2010. Full details on how to enter on the Daily Mirror website. Related items

Hits: 1895 Comments & Opinions4 comments so far, what say you? Subscribe to this comment's feedConditions attached "Winner can use the holiday home for holiday occupancy for 46 weeks per year. Max consecutive stay 8 weeks at any one time. Within first 2 years winner cannot sub-let, sell, relocate, remove or transfer ownership of the holiday home." Although you'll own the home you're restricted in terms of using it and what you can do after 2 years: "Alternatively winner can Sub-let the Holiday Home (either privately or through South Lakeland Parks @ 20% commission); Sell the Holiday Home (through South Lakeland Parks @ 15% commission); Relocate the Holiday Home to another holiday park or elsewhere (£750+VAT disconnection fee); or Transfer ownership to an immediate family member (£150+VAT transfer fee)." I'd rather just win a car or a caravan personally. False advertising? Advertised as win dream cottage this amazing dream cottage could be yours. Well that's not true if winner can't sell it is really a time share / what would happen if tastes in furniture differ, can't move it back to you and move mine in. So this is false advertising as it is only time share prize isn't it? Re: False advertising? @ l.mccartney: I agree with you this is gift wrapped as a 'win a house' competition when in fact it's a 'win a time share static caravan home' prize draw... But what would you expect from the Mirror? Daily Mail's Dream Cottage comps are more to my liking nice properties and not time shares (apart from the recent Beach Chalet one if I remember correctly)... |

What's more, for the first 2 years South Lakeland Parks will cover all running costs including site fees, rates, water and insurance. The winner will just have to take care of gas and electricity they use during their holidays.
